Travel and hobbies are how I recharge — they're what let me show up and perform at my best when the work gets hard.
I'm an engineer who likes building things with his hands as much as designing them on paper: welding and pipefitting industrial plant systems as an apprentice, then running pilot-scale pyrolysis experiments at DTU Risø. I'm finishing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies at DTU, specialising in bio-based fuels: pyrolysis, gasification, anaerobic digestion and Power-to-X. Just as important to me is the economic and environmental side, which shows whether a plant is worth building at all.
Based in Copenhagen. Looking for a Master's thesis from February 2027, in industry or at a university — pyrolysis, gasification, biochar, biofuels or bioprocess scale-up. I'd like it to solve a real problem, not just end up on a shelf.

The pyrolysis rig above, the pipe work and the assembly module here are all the same thing to me: I like being close enough to a system to get my hands on it, not just model it on paper.
